Andrea Bardac is a Clinical Bilingual Psychotherapist licensed in the State of Illinois. She is the founder and owner of Therapy Vibes Chicago. She was born and raised in Chicago and has a special love for the city and its people. Andrea’s education, professional experience, and expertise, along with her own personal journey, allows her to treat people of diverse backgrounds, generations, sexual orientations, genders, ability status, professions, immigration status, and ethnic, racial, and spiritual backgrounds. She values humor, culture, language, and diversity. Andrea’s parents are immigrants from Latin America and Eastern Europe. Her mother is also a psychotherapist. During therapy sessions, you may catch Andrea using humor, Spanglish, and being personable. Her theoretical approaches are Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Liberation Psychology, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Andrea’s areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, attachment, eating disorders, stress, religious trauma, loss, life transitions, dating, relationships, healthy lifestyles, sexual abuse recovery, women’s concerns, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), and bicultural stress. Andrea’s passion is to help you heal, learn techniques to fortify your strengths, focus on solutions, and take agency of your own healing while creating a sense of ownership in what happens in your life. Andrea obtained her Undergraduate degree at DePaul University with a major in Community Psychology and a minor in Communications. She attended Loyola University, where she completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and a second Master’s degree in Jurisprudence.
As a bilingual creative, eclectic, and relational therapist Aracely’s focus is to help individuals of all ages, couples, and families find balance and restoration.
